- Enter information in at least one search field.
- Information can be entered in multiple fields; results will match all criteria entered.
- If a FEIN is entered, an exact match is required or no results will appear.
- A missing FEIN match may mean: WSI does not have a FEIN on file for that employer, WSI has an incorrect FEIN on file, or the FEIN entered was incorrect.
- A maximum of 10 matching employers will be displayed. If this limit is reached, narrow your search and try again.
- Partial name searches are supported:
- If three or fewer characters are entered, the search returns employers whose names start with those characters.
- If more than three characters are entered, the search returns employers whose names contain those characters anywhere in the name.
- For the best results enter either Business Name or Legal Name, not both.
- FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) - An exact match is required or no results will appear. Contact the employer for this information.
- Business Name - Enter the business name or part of the business name
- Legal Name/Doing Business As/Trading As - Some employers operate under a name different from their business name. Enter the legal name, doing business as (DBA) name, trading as name, or a partial version of any of these.
- City - Enter the city where the employer maintains a business address. Only exact matches will be returned.
- State - Enter the state where the employer maintains a business address. Only exact matches will be returned.
- Business Name - The business name WSI has on file for the employer.
- Legal Name - The legal name, DBA name, trade name, or an extension of the business name on file. Many employers do not have information in this field.
- City - The city associated with the employer’s primary mailing address on file with WSI.
- State - The state associated with the employer’s primary mailing address on file with WSI.
- Expiration Date - The date the employer’s workers’ compensation coverage with WSI will expire. A new expiration date is assigned upon policy renewal and payment of the initial premium installment. If no date appears, it may be helpful to contact WSI Customer Service.
