Helping elected officials navigate workers' compensation constituent inquiries
When a constituent contacts you with questions about workers' compensation, WSI is here to help.
WSI's Constituency Services program provides elected officials with a dedicated point of contact to help navigate workers' compensation questions, explain WSI processes and decisions, coordinate with agency experts, and connect you with the information to help serve your constituent.
Constituency Services can assist with questions related to:
- Claim decisions and benefit eligibility
- Medical treatment and return-to-work
- Employer accounts, premiums, billing, and payroll reporting
- WSI policies, processes, and requirements
When you contact Constituency Services, we will:
- Serve as your dedicated point of contact throughout the inquiry.
- Provide clear explanations of WSI processes and decisions.
- Keep you informed as your inquiry is reviewed.
- Help facilitate the Authorization for Release of Information process when required.
Some inquiries require a signed Authorization for Release of Information before claim-specific and employer-specific information can be shared. If authorization is needed, Constituency Services will explain the process and help facilitate the request. WSI is committed to providing timely, accurate information while protecting confidential information as required by North Dakota law.
