This session reviews the importance of planning, practicing and getting kits for sheltering in place or evacuation of office, home and car. Participants will review tips for kits, planning evacuation and staying informed. Participants also learn how to request free in-home safety visits (free smoke alarm installations including bed-shaker and strobe alarms and readiness education).         

The Sexual Harassment in the Workplace presentation was created to help inform employees and supervisors/managers about the impact of sexual harassment in the workplace. The presentation will break down examples of sexual harassment, discuss laws and legal implications of sexual harassment in the workplace and highlight prevention strategies. The presentation will also provide information about what employees and supervisors/managers should do in the event that sexual harassment occurs in the workplace.
