WSI is aware that Change HealthCare – a unit of UnitedHealth Group (UHG) - was impacted by a cybersecurity incident in late February. This cyberattack may affect medical bill transmissions to WSI for payment in the event a provider is doing business with Change HealthCare. WSI’s data was not impacted by the incident.
All inquiries should be directed to UHG for updates on their incident response progress and recovery planning. If you are an impacted provider and have concerns regarding reimbursement in the short term, please reach out to WSI to discuss alternative options for medical bill submission.
