New Evaluation and Management Services Policies

WSI recently published two new documentation policies, Outpatient E/M Services and Other E/M Services. These policies align with the American Medical Association’s 2021 CPT® Guidelines regarding changes to the coding, documentation and payment of E/M services.

Outpatient E/M Services outlines WSI’s documentation requirements for the billing of Office and Outpatient E/M service codes 99202-99215. Other E/M Services, outlines WSI’s documentation requirements for the billing of all other E/M service types.
