Continuous-flow Cryotherapy Units No Longer Covered

Effective October 1, 2013, WSI will no longer approve new requests for use of the continuous-flow cryotherapy units, e.g. Game Ready™ Accelerated Recovery System.

There is insufficient evidence to show these units are more effective and safer than passive methods of delivering cold therapy and/or traditional treatment of rest, ice, compression and elevation.
