Workforce Safety and Insurance previously published an article about a transition to FourStone Partners for the coordination of medication monitoring for injured employees on chronic opioid therapy. After receiving several follow-up questions from providers about the article, WSI is providing further clarification.
In regard to how a provider should bill for the collection for the drug screen, FourStone Partners includes this fee as part of their service. Therefore, if a facility is doing the collections for the drug screen, the charge may be billed to FourStone.
