Dr. Mandi Johnson, MD, FAAFP, MPH will join WSI as Medical Director effective July 1, 2019. As Medical Director, Dr. Johnson will provide medical consultation services and assist with policy and procedure development for WSI. 

Dr. Johnson received her Bachelor of Social Work from Creighton University, medical degree from University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Master of Public Health from University of Minnesota. She completed a family medicine residency at Altru in Grand Forks and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Johnson also received a degree of fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Johnson works as a family medicine physician at a critical access hospital and serving as community faculty at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Services. Prior to accepting the position of Medical Director, Dr. Johnson also worked as a physician advisor for WSI for the past two years.
