Change to the UR Process for Speech Therapy Effective March 1, 2016

Effective March 1, 2016, WSI will require prior authorization of speech therapy by the Utilization Review (UR) department.

Formerly, a provider requested prior authorization of speech therapy from the claims adjuster. A provider should now submit a Utilization Review (UR-C) form to the UR department.
