2023 DOT Safety & Compliance Seminars

DOT Compliance
This is a foundation course for understanding compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. This course will provide a comprehensive review of regulatory compliance as well as how to prepare and what to expect during a compliance review audit. Topics to be discussed include but are not limited to: hours of service, driver logs, entry level driver training, drug/alcohol testing, driver qualification files and vehicle maintenance files.

Hours of Service
During this seminar we will provide an in-depth look at the hours of service regulations, and will cover additional topics including properly preparing records of duty status, Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements, proper use of personal conveyance, exemptions, and how to utilize reports from your ELD system to check for compliance and falsification. We will also discuss how to be prepared in the event that your company is selected for an FMCSA

D&A Clearinghouse
The D&A Clearinghouse is an online database that contains real-time access to information on drug and alcohol program violations committed by drivers who are subject to 49 CFR Part 382. Participants will learn about querying the Clearinghouse and reporting violations.
