The Regional Coordinator will promote whole community preparedness for the Northwest region of the state by assisting emergency managers, regional response teams, other first responders, and community leaders in Northwest, ND to build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities across the five mission areas of Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery. The Northwest region includes the counties of Bottineau, Burke, Divide, McHenry, McKenzie, McLean, Mountrail, Renville, Sheridan, Ward, and Williams and Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. Individual must reside either within one of these areas or be in close proximity to the area. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list. We are seeking a dynamic Regional Coordinator with strong communication skills to work with Federal, State, local and tribal jurisdictions and response disciplines to optimize preparedness and outreach efforts and act as a collaborative point of contact/liaison for local public safety, service agencies and elected officials. The incumbent will act as a resource and liaison to local and tribal jurisdictions and response disciplines to foster better operable and interoperable communications, identify new and growing threats, hazards and identify gaps in response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities, maintain stakeholder relationships supportive of regional response activities and promote, conduct and attend various training events. .

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of professional work experience in education or emergency response (law enforcement, fire, emergency management, etc.). Strong communication skills are required. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks, and background investigation.

As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker you will be assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and grounds at the Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, ND. Duties include providing consistent maintenance services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.The position of a Seasonal Maintenance Worker is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor by maintaining the buildings and grounds on the training site. You will be mowing, trimming trees and shrubs, landscaping, maintaining sprinkler systems, painting, etc.In this position, you must have the ability to operate and use power tools, grounds maintenance equipment, work in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time, possess and maintain a valid driver's license and lift in excess of 25 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older, eligible to work in the United States and successfully complete the interview process, reference checks and background investigation. Preference will be given to those individuals that have experience in grounds keeping.

Domestic Violent Extremism/Terrorism Analyst is required to provide intelligence analysis and program support to the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) - Division of Homeland Security. The position is assigned to the North Dakota State and Local Intelligence Center (NDSLIC). This position is dedicated to advancing initiatives related to combating domestic violent extremism (DVE) and terrorism, both foreign and domestic.The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list or a full job description. The position of the DVE/Terrorism Analyst reports directly to the NDSLIC's Chief of Operations and Intel Manager. This position will conduct open-source analysis and research concerning public safety, develop and conduct training sessions on domestic violent extremism and terrorism for law enforcement personnel, as well as other public and private sector stakeholders.The DVE/Terrorism Analyst will follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the protection of privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties. This position will assist with the development and support of the Information Liaison Officer (ILO) program to enhance stakeholder's ability to assess and manage threats.The DVE/Terrorism Analyst will support the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in training, exercise, and operational support as necessary. Travel in and out of state may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and two years of professional work experience demonstrating extensive verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills. Relevant post-secondary education may substitute for the work experience on a year for year basis. Extensive knowledge of technology including Office 365. Must possess a ND Class D driver's license or equivalent from another state, valid auto insurance and an acceptable driving record. Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to the worksite. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher and/or experience in information and intelligence collection analysis, writing, emergency management, threat, risk, vulnerability identification and mitigation.
