We are seeking a Part time Custodian to join our Facilities Management team at the Office of Management and Budget. The Facility Management division is responsible for the maintenance, repair, renovation, construction, and custodial services for the Capitol Complex located on Boulevard Avenue in Bismarck.To succeed in this position, you will be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities with a team effectively and provide outstanding service to all patrons of the state of North Dakota.This position is 25 hours per week with working hours between 5:00 PM and 1:00 AM Monday through Friday. This is a non-benefitted position. The duties of this position include but are not limited to cleaning floor surfaces; bathrooms and fixtures; empty wastebaskets; sorting and disposing of materials according to recyclable/non-recyclable; maintaining adequate supply levels in storage and restrooms. As well as dusting windows, shelves, files, and other office areas and washing windows, walls, and woodwork.To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.Requires the ability to perform, under minimal supervision, the activities necessary for maintenance and cleaning tasks, including lifting, and moving up to 50 pounds, and interpersonal skills to work within close proximity to other team members in the work areas.Requires successful completion of the interview process, reference checks, and background checks.
