As a Temporary Maintenance Technician, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance. You will complete highway maintenance duties, which include roadway repairs, assisting in installing, repairing, and maintaining highway signs and guardrails. To complete these tasks and others assigned, you will operate power tools and other equipment to perform maintenance duties. Part of this job is to keep the roadways clear of any hazards, this includes litter, waste, debris, garbage. Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position as a Fleet and Equipment III, you must have a Class A Driver License, completed a two-year curriculum in automotive or diesel/industrial equipment technology, and 2 years of work experience performing duties similar in type and complexity as those listed in the .Completion of a three-year master technology program and one year of work experience performing duties listed in the can substitute for the 2-year curriculum and 2 years of experience.Work experience performing duties similar in type and complexity to those to be performed on vehicles and equipment like those to be serviced may be substituted for the educational requirement of the basis of one year of work experience for one year of education.
