Workforce Safety & Insurance (WSI) contracts with PMSI, a national pharmacy benefit management company, to process pharmacy charges, through their program known as Tmesys®. This partnership with PMSI allows North Dakota's injured workers access to over 65,000 pharmacies, nationwide, while providing an efficient process for the pharmacies. Click here to search for a nearby pharmacy.

Pharmacies filling medications can submit the charges electronically to PMSI. To join the PMSI network, contact them directly at 1.866.599.5426. PMSI will work directly with the pharmacy to get a contract signed and expedite the set-up process.

To ensure proper processing please use the following:
  NDC   Envoy
• RxBin 004261 or 002538
• RxPCN CAL   Envoy Acct #
• ID Number: tmesys® claim number or 15 digit date of injury/SSN (yymmddssn)
Note: A Group Number is no longer required for ND workers’ compensation prescriptions

For Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or supply items (i.e. gauze, tape etc.); submit charges to WSI in paper format or electronically in the CMS 1500 format. WSI does not directly reimburse injured workers for medications, DME or supply items.

Click here to access the Service Guide for Pharmacists, which outlines when to contact PMSI or WSI. (Link to the current document. We will be providing an updated document soon)

Click here for the Pharmacy Quick Reference Sheet, which provides further explanations about the online messages the pharmacy receives at the point-of-sale.
