Hazard Recognition Programs

Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions is a critical component in creating and maintaining a safe work environment. Implementation of these components requires the identification of potential hazards in the workplace, training of employees on hazard recognition, and an established method to correct or report hazards. In addition, employers must complete a quarterly workplace inspection to help identify hazards missed by workers. It is important that all hazards identified during the process are tracked until the issue is repaired, resolved, or closed out.
