Workforce Safety & Insurance has concluded Phase 1 of the Hazard Elimination Learning (HELP) Grant Program. WSI accepted HELP Grant applications under the original HELP Grant guidelines through October 15, 2007. It is our intent that all HELP Grant applications received or postmarked by October 15, 2007 will be reviewed under the original guidelines and criteria of Phase 1 of the program.
As previously announced, WSI's original goal was to introduce Phase 2 of the HELP Grant program by December 1, 2007. In order to be certain that Phase 2 of the program encompasses the full intent and objectives of the program, it has become necessary to extend the introduction date of Phase 2.
When available, information regarding the new grant guidelines and criteria will be provided to employers via regular mail and through WSI's website. Please watch for those announcements.
