STEP Grant

STEP Overview

• In conjunction with 65-03-04 of the ND Century Code, WSI recently developed the Safety Training and Education Program (STEP) grant. This program is designed to assist ND associations and employee organizations with financial assistance to promote safety practices through safety training and education in an effort to reduce injuries and accidents.
• The STEP program has two elements defined by funding levels and participation requirements. STEP 1 allows a ND association to request up to $25,000 in funding. STEP 2 allows for funding from $25,001 to $150,000. The program period is not to exceed 12 months. Applications are subject to eligibility and requirements as indicated in the specific Grant Guidelines.
